  • This is seriously wrong. He's not even won the Lonsdale belt in his career.

The problem (if this fight actually happens) is I can see lots of people who don't really follow boxing getting ****** in. Sky love Mayweather and they would promote the balls off it...

    • If Manny Roidrage was willing to take blood (oh no he won't because he's on roids) then he wouldn't have to fight Mat Hatton

        • I like Matt Hattons courage and willingness to accept a challenge, even if it means losing. Now, if only Mayweather had the same kind of Ballz and courage to fight Opponents that are, dare i say, a notch above himself like PWilliams, Mosely, Sergio Martinez, or even PacMan. I have nothing against Mayweahters decision for Random Blood Testing, especially since PacMan will KO Mayweather, but Mayweather dug his own grave by Popping off at the Mouth. Whenever someone like Floyd Jr states that a fight with PacMan would be easy and that he would dominate the other man, then turns around and refuses to fight without a BloodTest, shows weakness and that he is Scared of Mannys punching Power. Maybe PacMan is on Roids, may be not, but Mayweather sure has given himself a reason not to fight or a reason why he lost. Now i blame PacMan too but avoiding fighters is becoming Mayweahters Legacy, whereas PacMan keeps taking on Bigger Challenges. I know all the ***** ass Mayweahter Fans will blast this as Biased, but i Challenge them to answer, "Why is PacMan fighting another Top Quality Fighter, while Mayweather is looking to pad his Stats against weaker Opponents like Matthew Hatton?" ... but for some reason Mayweather Fans insist that Manny is ducking FloydJR. I would love to hear the Logic behind Why Manny is Ducking Floyd, but i can barely understand CrackHeads aka Mayweahter Fans.

"Whoever want it they can get it. Pacquiao, Cotto, Hatton- it don't matter who the **** it is!"

OF COURSE HATTON CAN GET IT. hahah. he's trying to fight the entire family.

              Mayweather is a chump, a duck, a vagina, a chicken, a hen.

He shouldn't have to fight Hatton regardless. Mayweather didn't say he wanted to fight Clottey. He definitely ain't trying to fight Williams. And Cotto , despite a loss to Pac and Margarito, would still eat Floyd up.

              Arros con Floyd

Who's listening to a crackhead, a proven felon, and a dropout's allegations concerning PEDs?

                You are.

Who's taking the intelligent words of boxing experts, analysts, doctors, college graduates, and individuals with at the very least, an adequate mammalian IQ?

Real boxing fans (not just Pacquiao fans)

Who's defending a known duck, agreed upon by the very same boxing experts we all follow, who has not fought any of the top fighters in his division, will never fight the top fighters of his division and continues to bring down the sport of boxing?

                You are.

Who admires the "I'll fight anyone they put in front of me" mentality of a Miguel Cotto, of a Paul Williams, of a Berto, of a Clottey, of a Bradley, of a Pacquiao, who has fought and continues to fight the top welterweights of the division with an air of dignity, integrity, and sportmanship to uplift the sport of boxing?

                Real boxing fans.

Who follows an arrogant, loud-mouth fighter who can't back up his words, and diminishes the sport of boxing to nothing but banter and bullsht and even has the absolute nerve to disrespect Sugar Ray Leonard, Bernard Hopkins, and other all time greats, that he knows he will never come close to emulating?

                You do.

Who loves Sugar Ray Leonard? Bernard Hopkins? Roberto Duran? Sugar Ray Robinson? The men who've fought the best.

                Real boxing fans.

So who's ****** for believing what?

                Answer: You are

Who Will Win The Floyd Mayweather Sweepstakes?
                      by Steve Fradkin

Now that Mayweather-Pacquiao is in the crapper and Pacquiao is set to fight dangerous and ultra-durable Josh Clottey, the only quesiton left is who will win the Floyd Mayweather Sweapsteaks?

We've all heard the rumors, and man, those rumors are getting the fans excited! I mean, imagine Mayweather squaring off against slick and powerful Matthew Hatton. It's true that Matt lost a tough decision to David Kirk, a man who boasted a record of 9-43-3; and it's also true that he hasn't beaten any truly top ten fighters in any division, but come on, Matt's a Hatton, British boxing royalty. And I'm certain that his thirst for vengeance will help him overcome Floyd's vastly superior speed, strength, size, skills, power, and defense.

Kermit Cintron is another potential opponent. If Cintron's win over HBO's own future superstar champion Al Angulo doesn't merit a shot at one of the world's two best fighters, then certainly his "draw" with Sergio Martinez does. Who among you can't see this one going either way? Another compelling match-up.

Our man at ESPN, Dan Rafeal, broke the news that Nate Campbell's in the mix. Man there's nothing more admirable and courageous than a top fighter cleaning out the divisions below his own. Campbell was an excellent, though slightly underachieving lightweight who, because of natural growth, can no longer make the 135 pound limit. Perfect. He can now eat all he wants and fight Floyd two divisions north of lightweight, where I'm sure he'll carry his power. This is another fight that can only enhance Floyd's legacy.

Then there's Paulie Maliggnaggi. Now that's a proposal that really gets the fans salivating. It may be true that Paulie is several notches below Floyd in every important category...but, well, I'm not sure how to end this sentence, but it's another great fight.

The world will have to wait to see who gets the nod, but I'm just hoping that, as Floyd gazes toward the divisions south of welterweight, he doesn't remain so near-sighted: There are divisions below lightweight that have some damn good fighters in it. Guys like Vic Darchinyan, Isreal Vazquez, Juan Manuel Lopez, and Ivan Calderon.

Ivan Calderon is still undefeated. Now that would be a great battle of unbeatens: Somebody's "0" will have to go! Yeah Ivan will have to put on a few pounds, but he's not a power puncher anyway...

We do not yet know who Floyd will fight, but we do know some things about Floyd Mayweather. That is this: When Floyd makes a fight, he only asks himself two questions: will beating this foe enhance my legacy, and will this fight please the fans? That's why we love him. He's a risk-taker. He loves a challenge. He hates being the betting favorite. He seeks the foes that the experts think he cannot beat. So whoever he chooses to fight, you know it'll be the most dangerous opponent he could face.

Sense the sarcasm? HA. Now KFC nuthuggers, care to defend your cherry picker? Is this another tune-up fight? Air it out. I'm a little bored, I want to hear these chicken-tender excuses. Please, without getting back to Pacquiao and the blood-testing and the negotiations. Without mentioning Pacquiao, in general, JUSTIFY MAYWEATHER'S CHOICE OF COMPETITION, specifically in the welterweight division...
