WBC lightweight champion Edwin Valero and his team have left Venezuela and are heading to Monterrey, Mexico to finish training camp for the mandatory title defense against Antonio DeMarco on February 6. Valero, 26 wins with 26 knockouts, will not go head-hunting in the fight. He plans to put his punches together and win each passing round. [Click Here To Read More]

The Sulaimans are clearly biased towards Mexican fighters.

They have a history of not being objective even though he's supposed to be while working for the WBC.

I hate how more and more of these sanctioning body guys are kind of becoming promoters

Sulaiman has no business talking about individuals

This should be a good fight while it lasts anyway! I believe Valero will K.O. Demarco but DeMarco has a good chance of pulling off the upset as long as he don't try to trade blow for blow with Guiddo! Sulaiman is an ignorant rat bastard.

Totally agree. Remember when the Japanese guy knocked out the Mexican hope for a champion.

Sulaiman claimed it was a foul and they would not be robbed in Mexico.

Is he head of the WBC or just a biased Mexican fan?

Trying to think of the guys name.... Damn...

Didn't expect anything less with the WBC in making bias comments. As a governing body they have to stay impartial
