Step up to the plate HBO!!!!

HBO controls this whole ****. They need to sit both parties down and say the only fight we will broadcast is Pac vs Mayweather. Showtime can't offer the money HBO can. They are the mafia boss. What they say goes. Clottey vs Pac is solid, but all boxing ever delivers are solid match-ups. I want epic fights. Historic fights. The best fighting the very best. These kind of fights come around very seldom. This is one of those times. Make it happen HBO.

Clottey-Pac what do u think bout the fight? i think it would be a tough match up for Pac. when i watched the Clottey-Judah fight, i though Judah was helpless. He cant hurt CLottey. this should be a good match up

Good post TS. I'm sure it's not that simple but we'd all like it to be.

Clottey doesn't move well but he is tough. He'll be an easy target for Pacman to get to and furthermore, Clottey stops fighting a few rounds every single bout he is in. Fairly easy UD for Pacman.

And there is no way this fight should be a Cowboy stadium, they'd look foolish trying to fill that place up with Clottey.

Dude you hit the nail on the head, though I don’t mind seeing the fight I seriously doubt the interest for this event would fill the capacity of the Cowboy Stadium.

            Peace.

im not sure if that's an easy fight for Pac. judah cant even hurt him. Judah looked like a child against clottey. and for the cowboy stadium, at least Arum is trying to look for other options aside from MGM

you know what would fill cowboy stadium?

                margarito-pacquiao or marquez-pacquiao.

clottey is a very good fight but i doubt pac-clottey can sell 40k or so.

the demo is just wrong in arlington/dallas.

HBO really has no clout in this especially like your trying to imply. Remember Manny is with top rank/bob arum a guy who continues to put PPV events together without major networks and a guy who put together big fights even before HBO became the leader in boxing.

Let's say HBO does what you say. Bob tells them to go **** themselves and puts Clottey in march and mosley in sept as top rank ppv's. The same # of people will buy them whether it's top rank or hbo and hbo actually loses in this scenario and not top rank/team pacquiao. PAC is big enough to do numbers on his own now and it benefits hbo more than it does him. I know this burns people but it's the truth.

You do realize that you see absolutely no advertisements for Top Rank PPVs, right? The only people that know about Top Rank PPVs are the people that follow boxing on message boards (die-hards).

I don't think you understand just how many PPV buys come from the fact that HBO advertises the **** out of their PPVs.
