Video: Roach interview - " it takes like 3 days for manny to get back to 100%"

A few weeks old video, but listen to 2:30!

If it really takes 3 days to recover from losing a teaspoon of blood, why are they not accepting the 14 days test???

    Suspect!!!

A blood test is not just a teaspoon I believe. When I had blood taken for tests I actually went blind for 5 minutes! It actually was very draining and I'm not a world class athlete.

If it is just a teaspoon = Manny is a *****.

I think you'll find for sports related blood testing it's only a teaspoon.

thats weird because ive donated one pint of blood once in the past, and didnt notice much difference at all.
i was just told to drink lots of water.

If it really is only a teaspoon (which I somewhat doubt because of the various different substances they will have to test for) then Pac is a *****. A teaspoon is nothing - that's a small cut.

I have no idea how it would take 3 days to recover. My friend for example gave blood to the red cross or whatever (and I assume the amount that was taken from him was much more than would be needed for a test) and he still had the energy to come to school for the rest of the day, cycle 20 minutes home, and play a game of basketball in the evening, and that's on the same day. Different people I know but still, as an example.

The only problem I could see is 14 days or so out is usually where a lot of sparring takes place, so if Manny were so weakened it could throw out his schedule. But really, he shouldn't be, it seems like a big excuse to me.

Well,3 days out of a training schedule is a lot of days. 3 days when you cant train properly or 100% is a big inconvinience so close to a fight.
