I am sick and tired of hearing that Mayweather is trying to change the rules. Mayweather makes a demand in contract negotiations, and he's changing the rules. I am sure that Mayweather does not give a **** if any other fighter has or has not an olympic style drug testing protocol as part of his fight contract; however, he wants one for his fight with Pacquiao.
What's most pathetic is that this kind of demand is actually a positive thing for boxing, yet many complain. Meanwhile, we don't see the same passionate argument behind the elimination of fights with a catchweight between top contenders, the "I think I'll retire today but I'll come back 18 months later and fight a top contender" bull****, or an insistence that there be a universal ranking system to force the top fighters to fight each other, no matter what belt, organization, or promoter may be an obstacle.Comment

are u living in a country where it is ok to accuse a person without any proof? come on, the burden is on Floyd's camp to prove that Pac is using steroids. he is not running away. he just made a 24 day compromise that is way beyond what the NASC requires. Im so tired of all this bull****..i hope both of them just move on. Pac-Clottey. now thats a fightComment

it never was about steroids. pbf is trying to be bigger than the commission by wanting his own testing. any man with 1/2 a set of balls is never gonna bow down to that. would any of you allow me to dictate anything like that to you? i sure as hell would not. i'd follow the same rules as everyone else sure, but i would not be made to do something unless it's required of all fighters as per the normal test. pbf, never asked any other fighter for this. pbf knew pac was not going for it. gimme a break. you people who defend him saying manny's guilty, etc. are incompetent, and very foolish. imagine the roles reversed, you'd all be crying racism, and the like. standard testing is fine, and manny still agreed to additional testing showing more than reasonable accomodation. floyd don't really want the fight. sucks that floyd again screwed us out of a big fight. blame ur hero.Last edited by MELLY-MEL...; 01-09-2010, 09:18 AM.Comment

pride????? im supportin pac but he should have taken 14 days....that way he couldve shutted floyd up and then fighted him in the ring...It's about pride.. if floyd offers 23 days pac would say no and if pac offers 15 days floyd would say no.. Both in essence want to say, see I'm the man he caved in on my demands, because quite frankly whats the difference between 24 to 14 days?? and thats what's even more frustrating as a fan.. I just didn't expect this to spin out of control like this..

Totally agree its their pride that is killing this fight. Manny won't bow down to Floyd neither Floyd would bow down to Manny. It's about pride.. if floyd offers 23 days pac would say no and if pac offers 15 days floyd would say no.. Both in essence want to say, see I'm the man he caved in on my demands, because quite frankly whats the difference between 24 to 14 days?? and thats what's even more frustrating as a fan.. I think Floyd knows Manny is clean he just want to make Manny mad and say look I'm the king cause Manny follows my demands.Comment

pacman should take the tests to show that he's clean. do it for the boxing fans, not mayweather. mayweather is taking the same tests so theres no bowing down nothing like thatComment
