Its the Pacquiao team who reached out. It was Schaeffer of GBP who brought up the idea of drug testing. It just goes to show how serious GBP are with trying to make a fight with Pacquiao at this stage.

Some of you keep saying that Manny don't need Marquez but Top Rank
went after the Marquez trilogy not the other way around. Why would
Golden Boy let Top Rank scrap the Floyd fight with Manny to try to
make a fight with another one of their fighters? Who or What company
in their right mind would do something like that? I think Golden Boy is
doing the right thing by turning the heat up on the sitaution. Didn't
Top Rank and Pacquiao do the same thing to Golden Boy and Team
Mayweather. I still don't get why so many keep trying to stay blind
walking around in the dark? In this article, Arum apologizes for agreeing
to the blood testing? He said it is his fault? HUH? Why would he
have to apologize? unless his slipped up and put Manny on front
street. Some of you can play dumb if you like but not my forte.

at this point, any fighter from GBP would request for such testing from Pacquiao. Thus, a GBP fighter option seems out of the equation. Arum is sending contradicting signals all over the place. With this request to a trilogy when he has stated he is disgusted with the way GBP team has handled the botched fight. Ironically, what people state as an alternative for Mayweather, Malignaggi, I believe is also a Top Rank fighter.

I saw this coming as well. Top fighters like Marquez are not going to phuck with Pacquaio if they don't think he's on the up and up. I'm not mad at Marquez for taking this position. He's just keeping it 100%.

Mark my words. Manny Pacquiao refusal to take the
random blood tests is going to hurt him and help Mayweather
I believe. People seem to forget that before Pac, Floyd
made himself a major player in the sport of Boxing literally
by himself and is a very smart business man aside from a talented boxer/fighter. Pacquiao is a very exciting fighter
who has risen to the top by blowing away his competition
in the ring and now for him to refuse random blood tests
and not make this fight happen only to possibly fight
Malignaggi or Foreman is going to do damage to the Pacman
and NO I'm not saying it because I'm a fan of Mayweather
and NO I'm not saying this to discredited Manny or because
I hate him because I don't. Bottomline I see things for what they are and don't try to deny the truth in no shape form or fashion. Manny is making a big mistake not Mayweather business and image wise and that's my professional opinion
not a personal one.

May have been wrong about some of Manny's fights but don't
look like I'm wrong about the post above. This is one time I hate
to say that I'm right. Sad time for Boxing indeed.
