in 04 i would agree that the fanboyism was a bit less widespread but you still had pinoys vs mexicans practically every day on here. i would say without a doubt, that as soon as mayweather got on top, not when he became number one, and not when he fought mitchell, but it was when baldomir beat judah, and judah and mayweather fought, and the 8million dollar margarito issue started, this place has been run into the ground.

basically this place is mayweather vs whoever hes fighting next or whoever a hot fighter is that potentially challanges him. Without a doubt, this place was better when mayweather wasnt on top, because he hasnt lost, its always going to be him vs everyonoe else.

the problem is that the fanboys dont roatate out like they used to. when i first joined it was tyson hangers-on, jones jr fans, people dis*****g jones legacy, pac fans, mexican fans etc

when mayweather loses, this place will resume some normalcy. mayweather in my opinion, is the most talked about boxer this last decade IMO.

I have done alot more than any old school member to promote legit convos on here....true story, I have not gotten alot of support for neutrality from most of them.

Ive been here since 04 also and the **** was hyped back then. The problem is that once a fighter loses then he's thrown away 90% of the time on these boards and is called overrated garbage. This board really started to change when the Pac train got live. When he was 1st winning it was great but then something happened and everything went overboard.

Another problem is that all the greats were winding down at that time and not many new guys have stepped up. If RJ, Hopkins, Winky, Toney and those guys were still poppin then the forum would be alot better
