This article is a ridiculous comparison and more evidence of the biased views of the writers of this site. Pac/Cotto drew more fans than Mayweather/Marquez because both Pac and Cotto were PPV attractions. Pac could not draw 1.2 million fans without Cotto. Marquez was not a PPV attraction, yet that fight still drew 1 million viewers. Comparing the two is like comparing apples to oranges. It would be more appropriate to compare Mayweather/Hatton to Pac/Hatton. Mayweather/Hatton drew 875,000 in the U.S. and 1.4 million in England. Pac/Hatton drew 825,000 in the U.S. and 600,000 in England. If you look things from this perspective, you have an entirely different outcome.

Lol it's funny how you defend that position now, but when Mayweather was being attacked for his selection of Marquez, didn't he in his very own words say "Marquez has an entire country behind him" who would purchase the PPV?

Now when the comparisons are made with Pac, Mayweather along with his fans now want to argue that Marquez brought nothing to the table. So my question to you is....Is Mayweather a hypocrite or simply uninformed?

Your article is clearly biased. If the shoe was on the other foot and Mayweather fought Ricky Hatton & DLH 3 years after Manny did he would have been criticized for that. Keep in mind, those guys were exposed and done when Mayweather fought them (according to critics), but Manny fights them 3yrs later and he is held as the best boxer pound for pound. Even trainer Roach said DLH could not pull the trigger anymore and Hatton was overrated. Why isn't Manny being judge as Mayweather was? Why doesn't Manny get criticized for fighting overrated & old fighters as Floyd has? I give credit where credit is due. Manny has a more entertaining fighting style but that's it. Nobody likes Floyd's mouth or his offensive style and it's obvious with most writers, critics and fans alike. But one thing that can not be taken away is his undefeated record and the money he has made.

NSAC measures are ineffective, inefficient and above all draconian and out-dated. The NSAC and boxing as a whole is not incentivised to catch dopers because of the negative impact it will have on the sport and the $$ tap.
