I think that what Floyd is ducking is not the fight itself but the date. But public clamor wants it as scheduled, March 13, and now is under pressure to do something about it.

I believe it will happen eventually. If Manny loses against Clottey, the same issues will pop up again and I'm not sure how the Pac camp will react to them next time. If Manny wins, that'll be the end of all FM special demands.

If Pacman loses to Clottey, he should concentrate on the lawsuit. He could use his lose as part of emontional distress caused by the defamation.
