    Clottey signs for pacquiao fight

    By Scott Shaffer

********** has learned from reliable sources that welterweight contender Joshua Clottey has agreed to terms for a fight against Manny Pacquiao. Pacquiao has approved Clottey as an opponent and the fight will take place on March 13th as a pay-per-view fight. If the source is correct, Floyd Mayweather would be out a super fight and would need a new fight date, perhaps March 20th on HBO.

I believe its all been agreed to by the Clottey side only. Once Pacman is off on it, then its all legit and no more mega fight with Mayweather. Sad as it is to say.

The fight with Clottey is already done. Clottey is already on his way here from Uganda. Roach, Arum, and company are just running PR trying to make it look like it's all on Mayweather.

Clottey is still in Uganda, and Pac is still in the Phillipines.

I think the headline of that article is misleading.

better than watching Pacquiao catch up on a KFC bucket around the ring.

Clottey wouldn't be coming to the states unless the fight is pretty much a done deal. What do you think he's coming here for?
