    The real reason foreman was turned down?????

    simply b/c it would only make the cloud of su****ion around pacman even thicker, had he moved up a defeated a JMW......

          It's a lose lose because Pacquiao may not win so impressively. I wouldn't say risky.

                  all these are good reasons, but the excuse given was that forman is "too tall," and may come into the fight "near 170 lbs."



                  basically, it was a LOSE/LOSE for pacman......either he would've lost, or he would've won, and everybody would really start wondering wtf was going on....



                  smart move by top rank. that's the only reason i can think of, b/c that fight was more meaningful than joshua clottey.....nothing to gain by beating clottey, who lost to the guy you already beat.....
