Just saw it myself. Seems like the Clottey fight is a smoke screen and that Roach wants the Mayweather fight. He wants that pay day. That 3-4 day comment just dug Manny's grave even deeper. Bob Arum is behind all this madness. Boxing fans I must say, I believe the fight is at the moment of truth. There should be an out cry. All these post about watching the Clottey fight on ppv. I for one really like clottey, but will boycott that fight. Since it's principle for Bob and Team pacquiao, then it's principle for me to.

Don't be fooled by the spin man. That interview was nothing but a stunt to save face. The interviewer even seemed to be in on it. Why else wouldn't he follow up with Mayweather's 14 day cut off offer when Roach said that Pacquiao needs at least 3 days to recover from a blood test? Team Pacquiao wants no parts of Mayweather, but they don't want to look like they're ducking him. He's fighting Clottey on March 13th.

Brian Kenny dropped the ball on that one. I wouldve loved to hear forgetful Freddie say "14 days is fine" LOL Arum would go ape**** if that happened.

i see your point spacey--but i think they both have been secretly training though--i really feel the fight will be signed by monday--i just feel it you know? bob arum needs to just stop now or get out of the way--this fight doesn't need him unitl the press conference--just so we can hear what he has to say about floyd--last time they dealt with each other as far as press conferences go--bob was calling floyd the greatest fighter since ali--let's see what he says about floyd now--and let's see if floyd brings that up--i bet you he will---lol...

I think if you put Mayweather, SHaefer, Freddie and Pacquiao in one room theyd get the fight signed in under 30 minutes.

Its Floyd Sr and Arum thats screwing everything up. If Arum had a heartattack it might be the best thing to ever happen to boxing.

From an episode in HBO's Real Sport, Manny pays Roach 10% of his purse. 10% of $30 million ++ = $3 million + for Roach. Of course he wants the fight.
