I was gonna say Quintana but I thought it would be more interesting to see Floyd fight the best 140 vs the 7th best at 147. Kermit Cintron is not going down to 147.

Fighting a 140 pounder in a welterweight fight would do more harm to Floyd's reputation than anything.


He cannot make it below 147, we all know this, he's said it himself.


Of course, fighters like Bradley would gladly come up to 147 to fight for the biggest payday of their careers, but really its no different than Hatton coming up to 147, or even Marquez.

Fight someone at 147 who is established, or at least proven that they can compete at the weight effectively.

I wasn't dissapointed with him coming back and fighting JMM. I'm a Floyd fan because when I met him a few times he was nice to me and a class act. Not fighting Cotto, Margarito, Mosley will hurt his legacy but I can see why he opted for the more lucrative paydays in De La Hoya and Hatton. The Pac fight is IMO not made yet but this time its not his fault.
