Am I the only one who would be surprised at Clottey defeating Pac?

He's a tough fight for anyone, and no, I wouldn't be surprised. He would pick off most of the punches and deliver the memorable punches in return. I think it would likely be another quality vs quantity fights like Hopkins-Calzaghe.

When you fight top notch opponents like Pac does anything can happen. But because Pac is the greatest he usually comes out on top. Law of averages means he will come out on top but this is boxing and anything can happen.

I wouldn't say that. Hopkins was a more powerful, accurate and better puncher than Calz. What Calz had over Hopkins was work rate but they weren't really too effective.

Pac is at least equally as powerful as Clottey punch for punch. So where the argument for Hopkins was that one of his shots is equal to 2-3 Calz's punches the same can not be said for Clottey because Pac has proven his shots are powerful at this weight.

With that said I see this going to Decision with Pac winning 8 rounds at least.

It could happen. This is a tough fight for both, IMO. Pacquiao's the best opponent Clottey has faced and Clottey is going to be the biggest (weight) opponent Pacquiao's faced.

I wouldn't be surprised if Clottey pulled it off. I'm assuming he's going to be able to walk through Manny's punches. The guy has got an awesome chin.

Plus, to get to that chin you have to get him out of his guard. Underrated hand speed, and he is a very good counter puncher.

I think this fight will be tougher than the Cotto fight.
