why is Floyd ranked so high in the welterweight division?

Hes done nothing of note other than beat a guy with 9 losses and the other welterweights he did beat there were just blown up jr. welters with one guy even being a blown up lightweight.

So again, how is this dude ranked so high for mostly beating guys who were never welters to begin with?

Mayweather's with HBO, his adviser is Al Haymon and Al Haymon seems to be embedded at HBO.

HBO has all the money, so no matter who Mayweather fights, he's protected and the organizations act accordingly.

There's no rhyme or reason to it, its just total corruption.

If boxing was ran like any other mainstream sport, Mayweather would probably have at least 3 losses by now.
