at least he was honest about the clear duck this time, and not some random bull**** excuse fighters make like "he doesn't generate PPV sales dawg!" or some gay ****.
I really thought Khan was going to fight him, bit a of a let down but reality is roach doesn't think he's ready. He probably isn't.
If fighters through history took that attitude, there would be no sport, whats the point of living a gutless career, imagine, Ali VS Foreman, Rumble In The Jungle, Ali sees Foreman as a risky contender, no fight.... Thats ***** and y'all know it!!
Khan wants to fight Maidana. Its sad that fighters take a backseat to trainers and promoters, when they're putting their lives on the line. But then again, if fighters had it their way, we'd be seeing some crazy brawls between everyone. Which i wouldn't mind at all!
Roach needs to stick to training and not managing. Abandoning a belt out of fear of another fighter is ridiculous.
Once your a belt holder I can understand a tune-up between tough fights but down right not fighting someone is ridiculous. Thats what I actually liked about Pac in the lower weights and what I loathed about PBF in the WW.
