Lets talk boxing here and analyze this match up
I personally think this is a good move by pacquiao's team, though this isnt a big money fight, its gives us real boxing fans a realistic match up,
Clottey is a legitimate challenge.

i'd rather have Manny fight Clottey because fighting malinaggi, or yuri foreman
won't prove much(not to me atleast), Clottey will.

Obviously Clottey has a size advantage..the fool looks like he comes in at like 170 on fight night or something. LOL

next to antonio margarito, he is probably the biggest welterweight out there
Stylistically he might or he might not give Pacquiao trouble.

Clottey's defense is very good, his guard is really tight and hard to penetrate.
however, we all know that manny is the master at throwing punches from angles unimaginable,...will he be able to get through clottey's defense? i dont know... but im pretty sure he'll have some kind of gameplan

Clottey is too inactive, doesn't have the stamina, too stationary and doesn't have that hard of a punch. Honestly; Clottey is my dude, but stylistically, Pacquiao is all wrong for him. I got Pacquiao easy U.D.

I've been saying Pacquiao > Clottey since Pacquiao beat Oscar.

This is a more dangerous fight in my view than Floyd.....Clottey may have a lower ko rate due to inactivity in fights not necessarily than him being featherfisted.

Clottey is tough, thats about all that can help in a fight with Pacman. And has already been mentioned they guy goes asleep too often in his bouts. He be able to win a round here and there but he doens't move too well and would be a prime target for a relentless speed demon like Pacman. Fairly easy UD for Pacman.

Its not only his chin, he has that high guard to keep him from sustaining damage.....Cotto didn't have that and his defense is very lacking for a world class level of fighter.
