Pacman would EASILY beat Clottey.

I like how people forget the cut that blinded Cotto in 1 eye for most of the fight with Clottey. What if that cut never happened. How would that fight have turned out?

Im just being real. I think Pac goes off on him. Hell be plenty motivated.

And between me and you...There is to much money on this fight for Arum to let a guy who is not a DRAW ruin it.

Clottey will have to KO pac just to get a draw.

To much money to be made on pac.
I apologize then if I mis-interpreted the start of your thread as "hate".

Clottey unfortunately falls into that category of fighter "high risk low reward"....and its a shame that those types of fighters are never given proper credit. Examples.....Glen Johnson, P-Willy (as of right now), Chad Dawson come to mind......

He is a very solid/ almost elite WW in a very stacked division.

Like to old saying goes...styles make fights...and Clottey's armore and granite chin will be hard for Pac to break....but like Merchant said..."A rock will break if you hit enough times"......

It would've made a huge difference. The fact that Clottey barely threw any punches in the later rounds while Cotto was already slightly diminished with that cut, imagine if Cotto didn't have that cut. The big difference IMO with Manny fighting Clottey, is that Clottey would not get hit as much as Cotto did and i believe he's naturally bigger than Cotto. That's why i think that Clottey is a more dangerous fight than Cotto for Manny, although i don't think Clottey is as skilled as Cotto, but he is better defensively.

those fights revealed clottey cant fight 12 rounds.......and he has one big weakness = his workrate....hes prolly not gonna knock manny out so this is mannys fight to lose.......clottey will prolly win the 1st few rounds and itll be a close fight....im excited about it as long as its 147........

Clottey threw 120 more punches in his fight against Cotto than Mayweather threw against Marquez. So people saying Clottey's chances are slim because he doesn't throw enough punches and stays too long in his defensive shell need to admit the same about Mayweather.

I don't see Clottey winning this fight whatsoever.

Me neither...not taking away anything from Clottey, Manny is just all over the pace, adapt really well, had power in both hands, throws for everywhere...and hard! Like they say, it's the punches you don't see coming that get you. I see Clottey tiring, but Clottey has a great chin, so it kinda balances things out.

Even though i think he can, I don't think it will be easy for Manny to hurt Clottey, I think he'll win on the scorecards, unless he can swarm over him like bees and pepper the **** out of him and ko him.

Cotto was very fortunate to have gotten that 1rd kd. **** like that only happens once in a blue moon.
