Just talking about him right now breaks my heart.He lost his father & I believe that the Margarito scandal had affected him already.I hope he retires & has enough money to live the rest of his days satisfyingly!!

The guy has had a rough year and a half.......its likely Tony did cheat him and ruin his career he wasn't the same after that.
Then he has the luck of the draw going up against a truly great fighter when he himself may have been damaged good and at his best I can say was just very good but not great.
Now he loses his father, your heart has to go out to the guy.
I think he will fight again sometime though, he may have 2-3 fights at most.

In the post fight interview of his fight with Pacquiao, Cotto said he was going to continue fighting. He still had his dad atm but we'll see if his dad's death motivated him to continue.

Maybe he's thinking like "I'm gonna continue cause I know my dad would tell me to keep fighting if he could talk to me".

I hope he does. Give him time to mourn and heal. Then give him time to rebuild his career. Cotto's fans should be patient and hope he doesn't rush into big dangerous fights.

i beleive he takes a full year off of boxing. get his mind right and mentally ready for his next opponent




we all gotta remember, he did pretty dam good against pacquiao, pac was just on a different level

I think he will fight later on in the year.

I don't see his career lasting much longer though.
