The reason im saying the salita win was not convincing is because salita has faced probably weaker opponents than khan with no recognition...and Khan's punches didnt seem affective they looked light...play it in slow mo and youll see what im talking about...it just didnt seem devistating enough...i think salita just didnt have a chin

What about khan getting KOd in the first round by a 135 pounder and now ducking his mandatory? Ortiz wants a rematch so that quitting thing is out the window khan doesnt even want to try lol ducking and getting KOd in the 1st round is worse than quitting IMO

              1. Khan is not ducking maidana he wants to fight him. Khan said there is no way I will vacate the title after just winning it.
              2. The SUN post crap, MOST of its incorrect and therefore is not a credible source. That post about Roach saying Khan is better of vacating was made after the kotelnik fight. Recently he said to khan that the maidana fight is fine.
              3. I watched the Salita fight in slow motion in 50fps and it did have an affect on Salita u could see it from his head being snapped back quite badly. When he got up his eyes and his legs were totally gone.
              4. Khan stopped Ortiz because he was way ahead on points in the amatuers, but not because of a knockout.

True, i must say. Although i like both Ortiz and Khan, i have to say that both are doing what they have to do to improve their careers. Ortiz just had a really bad night and for a second didnt look like his heart was just their. He does have AMAZING power with a good head and is starting to become a boxer more then a brawler. Khan on other hand..to be honest, i wasnt a fan of his pre-prescott. The interviews where he claimed he could beat Pac and other Elites before he even had the CommenWelth title were just too aragont. Confidence is one thing, Arrogance is another. After he was knocked out i really didnt think he would come back because of his loss. But, he took that **** like a man, gave prescott full credit and changed his plan. Now look at him, one of the most humble people in the sport and is a respectable guy. And he's only getting better. Only He, and Devon Alexander are very young and are still growing in fact. lol

no he didnt. khan won by RSCO which means ortiz was outclassed. ortiz was 15 years old when they fought in 2003.
