And, so Arum lied about the mediator being the one that came up with the final offer from Manny's camp. This doesn't change the fact that Floyd said NO to Manny's final compromised. Doesn't change the fact that Floyd's camp created and started this whole Olympic blood test fiasco and is the caused for this fight not happening. Doesn't change the fact that if Floyd would've stuck with the commission's standard drug test, this fight would've been signed already. This article only proves that Arum is a big fat liar, so what else is new. Tell me that you don't think that Schaefer is any better and not a liar himself. You have to be pretty ****ing ****** to believe that, and i have a bridge to sell you.

Second, people have mentioned that there isn't a reason to even ask for the tests in the first place...Well when would be a good time to ask someone to take random blood tests??? I mean Holyfield and A.Abraham never tested positive...They simply took the tests, passed them and commenced to whoopin that ass!!! No excuses or weakening whatsoever...The funny thing about this Manny has been lying through his teeth, from saying it'll weaken him in side thirty days but gets caught on video giving blood inside of 30 days...He said he was scared of needles, then gets caught getting tats...but you guys seem to be cool with these lies and believe everything else he says??? why?
Why all of the lying to AVOID random tests within 30 days...That doesn't make you the slightest bit su****ious...Esspecially since we're talking about a fight that could gross each figher in excess of 40 million dollars.
Today, the picture was being painted that PBF and team were unreasonable and unwilling to work together to make the fight, only to find out that PBF had already presented the more than fair 14 day window as a compromise???
No mention of this from Arum during his PBF bashing session.
You see...since there is precedence set, in regards to random blood testing and because of his suspect aversion and lies, Pac and his team have given more than enough reason for any logical person to be su****ious and feel motivated to request random blood tests within 24 days of the fight - more accurately, within the 14 days of the fight.

Originally posted by Fearless BONG View PostIt should not come as much of a surprise to *************.com readers that the pound-for-pound pretender Floyd Mayweather would back out of the March 13 “Super Bowl of Boxing” as he did last night at Daniel Weinstein’s mediation meetings. According to various reports, Mayweather rejected the pleadings of his own handlers to take the fight, refusing to accept the 24-day before fight random blood test for superstar extraordinaire Manny Pacquiao.
This duck by Mayweather will prove costly, not only to himself – he was guaranteed $25 million and could have earned up to $40 million – but also to the sport, HBO, Golden Boy and sporting enthusiasts all over the globe who were eagerly looking forward to the showdown. It is not clear at this time how Mayweather’s evasion of the fight will affect his business relationships with HBO, Golden Boy, his sponsors, and his supporters. But the saying, “A coward dies a thousand deaths,” may most accurately describe what Mayweather has to look forward to in regards to his professional and personal future, as well as the devastating defamation lawsuit he now has to deal with from Manny Pacquiao.
The deathblow to the March 13 Super-fight came when Mayweather apparently refused to offer any counter proposal to the Pacquiao team late yesterday evening, effectively canceling the highly-anticipated event.
The Mayweather camp did not release any statement last night however an honest translation of what Mayweather is feeling inside might go something like this: “I am a coward who knows without any shred of uncertainty that Manny Pacquiao will destroy my career and future earning power at age 32. I tried everything to get out of this fight – from hoping he would lose to Hatton, Oscar and finally Cotto, hoping his Cotto PPV #s would be small, ordering Pac to call me out and ask for the fight, trying to force a quick fight on March 13, manipulating Oscar, Schaefer and Haymon to do my dirty bidding – but this time my cowardly ducking tactics coompletely failed to work and on the evening of January 6, 2010 the truth is out of the bag. I have uncontrollable cowardice in my heart and soul. My skills only work with slow, old, faded second raters. I know prime beasts like Margarito, Cotto, Mosley and Williams would knock me out. And I know Manny Pacquiao would not only slaughter me but his beautiful class, honor and dignity would make my immature and foul behavior look like a complete ugly disgrace in comparison. I know for certain he is the superior in every category. I don’t know how this open display of pure, honest cowardice will effect my relationships with HBO, Golden Boy or my ****** fans. But I don’t really care, at least now I don’t have to get slaughtered, brutalized and bashed upside the head by the greatest fighter in boxing history Manny Pacquiao on March 13.”
LOLzzzzz this is so funny...

Too bad there wasn't a video or transcript of this meeting.
Bob Arum is foolish though, he opens his mouth too fast and too much. Like that article posted a week or two ago that was titled, "Please Bob Arum, SHUT UP!"
don't knock uncle bob.

I have never seen Bob Arum bash one of his own fighters. OLDH, the Golden Boy himself, who has a stake in Pacquiao's promotions and gets paid everytime Pacman steps in the ring, has starting bashing him left and right. Bob is alot of things: scumbag, liar, etc but at least he stands behind all his fighters which is what a promoter is supposed to do. He even stood behind Floyd Jr. when Bob promoted him, even when Bob couldn't get him to fight anyone (Mosley, Cotto, Margarito, Williams, etc.)....
