Sturm needs to shed 35 lbs. Wants Pavlik in June.
In a recent interview with german tabloid BILD, WBA MW champion Felix Sturm revealed that he has signed a contract for 20 million euros for 10 fights with UFA and it is believed that Sturm's fights will be broadcasted by RTL that also features the Klitschko's.
Sturm further said that he has put on a lot of weight lately due to him being a father and due to his fall-out with promotor Klaus-Peter Kohl from UNIVERSUM.
"I've been eating to much fast-food, so I am currently weighing 87 kilos which is 15 kilos (some 35 lbs.) above the middleweight limit. I am working with a nutritionist so I'm now only eating white meat and I drink more than 7 liters of water every day."
Sturm hasn't been in the ring since he outpointed Koren Gevor in July last year and says:
"My goal is to fight fellow champion Kelly Pavlik. In fact we are negotiating this very month in the hope of bringing a fight together in May or June. It is planned to take place in Cologne, Germany."
