Why hasn't Golden Boy/Mayweather released a statement yet?

Not trying to add to the flame wars, but doesn't it seem odd that the media hasn't been able to get in touch with anyone on Mayweather's side? No word from Golden Boy, Ellerbe, or Floyd himself. Not even a short press release saying "We're disappointed the fight couldn't be made."

I think they're either laying low, trying to let the story die down. Or they're trying to convince Floyd to agree to the terms or make a counteroffer.

they still trying to make the fight. they been quiet and trying to negotiate like they always have. floyd talks before negotiations and after. It's no different this time around.

Only Team pacquiao makes statements on not fighting. They can't get something....the fight is off! Floyd and em is still trying to make the fight!

Do they need to make a statement? 24 day cut off? What else needs to be said

One source familiar with the negotiation said that offer was then taken to Mayweather, who declined to accept those terms. Another source, however, disputed that description of events, and said the fighters still have time to strike a deal before a "business deadline." Previously, the promoters wanted Pacquiao and Mayweather to star at news conferences in New York and Los Angeles next week.

Man, I don't know about you, but if there's a crazy old man talking **** about me, there's going to come to a point where I say something to set the record straight.

With a pending lawsuit against them, they might need to be a little more careful.
