I actually liked him in 1998.

When he started to take up his bad guy persona in order to invite hate since that was the only way he could sell fights, I stopped liking him.

its a well known fact that majority of the internet HATES Floyd compared to the general public..i remember ALL the internet was talking doin was laughing at floyd while he was doin whatever he could to sell the marquez fight..and when it turned out he did a million buys the haters looked like jackasses once again..the public overall is alright with floyd and doesnt have such hateful feelings for the guy like people around here would seem..

I think that's a myth. Brian Kenney and Dan Rafael have both said in the past that they like and get along with Floyd, for example. They've argued with Floyd, sure, but just because they call him out and ask him tough questions at times doesn't mean they hate him. It's their job to ask tough questions and sometimes be critical.
