I am really not surprised but really disappointed at the same time, I know it is a contradiction.
I am not surprised at the outcome since day one both camps have not been able to have the egos on check, but then again that is what to be expected sometimes from boxers and in table of negotiations they want the most stipulations made for the fight to be for there own benefit, nothing new here.
What really bugs me is the epic lack of leadership and control , maybe even interest that Top Rank and GBP has had for this fight. There job is to promote and make fights happen, find that sweet spot so the contract gets signed. How can anyone go to Cabo on vacation when you are on negotiations for the biggest pay day of your company? Really both promoting companies have there share of guilt and there leadership skills to control their fighters so they can let them do there job.
This fight all it does is disappoint boxing fans and make newer fans of boxing lose interest and go back to been fans whenever mega fights happen.
