Jose Luis Castillo is better than anyone he ducked at 135. So I give him props for that.

After that, he gets nothing from me.

Not at that point of time. The undefeated Hatton was a super-King. Many thought he would beat Mayweather.

Anyone who says Floyd ducked Acelino "POO-POO" Freitas and Leo Dorrin cannot be taken seriously as a boxing fan.

                  REAL TALK!

He fought JC Castillo in his first fight at 135. He didn't make Jose meet him at 132 or no **** like that. Castillo was universally ranked #1 at the time Floyd fought him.

The two best Jr. Lightweights in the world back in 1998 were Genaro (#1) and Angel Manfredy (#2). Floyd beat them in back-to-back fights.

Floyd tried desperately to fight Kostya Tsyzu, but the FACT is Zoo was signed to a contract with Showtime and Floyd was signed by HBO. The fight was basically an impossibility.

When Floyd fought Oscar at 154, Oscar was considered the best at 154. Not Cory Spinks or Roman Karmazin (lmao) like you falsely stated.

The only fighter I know for a fact that Floyd flat out REFUSED to fight is Stevie Johnston and Antonio Margarito.

The fact that Floyd has only been an underdog once in his career (diego corrales) speaks more for his greatness than it does anything else.

You've already proved you don't know much about Mayweather's career, so please stop wasting people's time with these moronic threads.

                      Vernon Forrest

He fights Old Oscar instead. (cant really blame him but he still didnt fight the top guys).

                      Side note: Fraudlent Mayweather Jr. was a 130 up until 11-10-2001. One division below him 126 had fighters named;

                      Erik Morales
                      Marco Antonio Barerra
                      Manny Pacquiao
                      Naseem Hamed
                      Juan Manuel Marquez

Somehow, everybody finds a way to duck him, the self proclaimed face of boxing & cash cow. Why would they want to do that?

Thank you & good nite now.
This is more proof that Pac worshippers have no clue what they are talking about. Jose Luis Castillo beat Stevie Johnson for his championship belt and then beat him in a rematch. Floyd fought and beat Castillo twice AFTER Castillo beat Johnston. Why the hell would he fight the former champion (Johnston) who was considered past his prime when he could meet the current champion (Castill0)? Paul Spadofora was in prison when Mayweather moved up to 135. I dont' even remember which weight Leonard Dorin fought at, but I do know he was the equivalent of David Diaz, a second tier fighter, so why would he fight him instead of the Ring Champion in Castillo. Casamayor and Freitas were fighting at 130 at the same time as Floyd. Instead of fighting them, he fought Diego Corrales who was considered the best at 130 besides Floyd.

Mayweather tried to secure a fight with Hatton at 140 in what would have been Mayweather's first fight at 140. However, Hatton's promoter, Frank Warren turned the fight down, saying Hatton wasn't ready. The story quoting Warren was written on this site. He indicated that he wanted to fight Kostya Tyszu, but Tyszu chose to fight Hatton instead. Mayweather called Cotto out after the Gatti fight, but Arum refused to put Cotto in the ring with Mayweather after seeing what he did to Gatti. Mosley turned the fight against Mayweather down twice, once at 135 and once at 147. Even the Pac worshippers know that (all except you). At the time he fought them, Zab Judah was number 2 at welterweight and Carlos Baldomir was number 1. But you are criticizing him for not fighting the number 3 guy (Margarito) ?

Either you are the dumbest Pac worshipper on this site or you really did start watching boxing a year ago. Regardless, even on this site, you give Pac worshippers a bad name.
