Its also highly possible that Floyd realized hes not going to back Manny down at the negotiating table, and with such a short window to prepare for such a dynamic fighter, he wants to be fully prepared by starting his camp much earlier than what would have been had it been officially signed for March.

Plus, it does give what would seem like an eternity of time for promotion.

I still think hes a lame who has ducked the best fighters at welterweight for the last 5 years, but he really can't be that ******, or afraid to call this fight off for absolute good,

    or can he?
There are some damages which cannot be undone.

By the time PBF realizes this is the day he files for bankruptcy.

Who are you to question WHY Floyd wanted to retire.

He said wanted to spend time with his family and clear his mind.

Your posts makes no sense at all.

Take off the "I hate Floyd glasses" then post man.

Again I ask. Who did you want Floyd to fight after a 21 Month lay off?

To be fair to Floyd, I think when he retired, he was actually sick of boxing and wanted to explore other things. He was talking about retirement years before he actually retired.

My posts make absolute sense. I was a boxing fan back then, I saw all the **** go down, you I highly doubt it as you don't seem to recall all these facts.

Floyd tucked his tail between his legs and ran just before there was to be a winner in the Margarito Cotto bout. Not a coincidence since the boxing community at large was going to hype up a bout between the winner of the two and Floyd.

In regards to Shane, Shane said he would fight Floyd, in February or March, not November. Then Floyd proceeded to tell the world that he doesn't fight sparring partners in reference to Shane helping DLH prepare for the Mayweather bout. When Shane once again made it known he was ready for Mayweather, it was then that Floyd began his, "hes on steroids routine".

            To answer your question,

a welterweight would have sufficed, not a two fight lightweight.

Btw mijo, I don't hate Floyd. I think hes the single greatest talent I've ever seen on a fighter,

but hes too pussed out to actually step in with other guys who pose a legitimate threat.

"oh, but he has never been beat".

Neither has Rocky Marciano, Joe Calzaghe, Ricardo Lopez, Lazlo Papp or Sven Ottke.

You do know what the knock on those fighters and their records is right?

I'll let you tell it since you're such a fan of the sport.

oh yea, about that 21 month retirement and who he should have fought when coming back, well, as you know, I already answered your question.

But theres this one guy, goes by the name of Sugar Ray ,

he was out of the ring for roughly 36 months, and came back,

to fight the middleweight champion of the world,

some guy by the name of Marvelous.

funny eh? Out for three years, and comes back to step in the ring with a formidable and quite destructive champion.

But I guess you get more impressed when a welterweight of five years, hears the calling of his name,

            by a two fight lightweight.

                1. What Welterweight? And who was avilible for July 19th? For Floyd after a 21 Month lay off that wouldve been a tune up to shake off ring rust.

                2. Shane skipped two divisions to duck Floyd. Then in 2006 he had a toothache Im sure you remember that.

                3. I dont give a **** if hes undefeated. Saying hes never challenged himself is pure hatred you dont get to be P4P Number 1, Jump 5 divisons and win titles in each and not challenged urself.

                4. So because Sugar Ray came back and fought Hagler after 36 Months. You expect EVERYONE to do it. Thats an exception not a rule. And Sugar Ray only wanted the fight because he seen Hagler was o the downside of his career. That argument is ridiculous. I want to see Manny Pac take 36 Months off then roll out of bed and fight Mayweather or Mosley. You telling me that your upset because Floyd took a tune up to shake off ring rust for 21 Months away?

                5. JMM was a tune up. What dont you understand?

Try not to be so biased.
