Make no mistake about it, moving up to fight even a mediocre fighter who will likely be 20 pounds heavier and 5 inches taller, is no walk in the park.

pointless fight and worthless title, hes no better than Floyd if he fights Foreman. As someone has said its like Floyd fighting Baldomir. Your telling me pacman cant fight the winner of Mosley Berto? Pacquiao has the biggest paycheck next to his name in boxing at the moment, he can basically fight anyone he wants so its his responsibility to fight the big fights.

Mosley,Berto,Williams,Margarito,even a Clottey fight makes more sense!

Or drop to 140 and fight Bradley? Of course we all want to see Floyd but if that aint gonna happen that doesnt mean you should fight the easiest fighter and the weight level above?!

Technically Manny hasnt fought at Welterweight yet! He made Cotto make 145!!

Manny loses a lot of respect if he doesnt fight a top fight at welterweight and takes Foreman instead.

Hes not quite as bad as Floyd in this area but he would take a massive step towards it.

I think he is still competitive against Foreman but he is overstretched on his weight limit. I think Pac should fight the winner for Mosley-Berto provided the winner will not demand what Floyd demanded pre-fight. However, if he could defeat Yuri with convenience then he should fight PWilliams for good! Alas, there's no more chance for Pac-JMM 3 if Pac keep on moving north ward!

He may win his 8th title but it will come agaist a paper champion to say the least. But Diaz wasn't exactly the best lightweight either.

You might be right that Foreman is just a paper champ but atleast in the JMW, but Pac comes from Welter who did not even fought full welters is not fighting a just paper champ alone but he wanted to prove his fullest, and to Pac, Yuri is not just a paper champ but an experienced monster in JMW esp. against an up coming Pac!

Pacquiao,what a joke...Picks and chooses who he fights at catchweights so he can come in at his peak but the other guy has to come in below his peak conditioning.Manny comes into fights as strong as he can be and the other fighter has to worry about his weight and strip away muscle.Lets see what Manny and his team demand pf Foreman for HIS title in this fight.

THIS WAS THE FIGHT FOR THE WORLD. FOR THE GUY AND GAL WHO AREN'T FANS BUT WOULD HAVE PAID UP THE $60 FOR THIS PPV EVENT. SO NOW WE GET PACQIUAO WINNING ANOTHER TITLE IN ANOTHER WEIGHT CLASS, EVEN THOUGH WITH THE CATCH WEIGHT THAT WILL ALMOST DEFINITELY HAPPEN, HE WON'T ACTUALLY FIGHT IN THE WEIGHT CLASS THAT HE WILL BE CALLED CHAMPION IN.
