That is a special talent no question. That is also why a special fighter should challenge himself by fighting someone his size, so an opponent actually has the ability to throw a jab down and over a shoulder roll etc.

You cannot be great, if you continue to face opponents who fit within a finite criteria. Unless you take risks, all goes to waste.

Like the 1st guy to respond to this thread said, "you are trying to say mayweather is the best"

You have a good point though and I agree with your original post Larry. Some guys on here who have never boxed don't appreciate Mayweather's defensive skills, and overall boxing ability. Yes it is a strong feat to finish a fight, as if you never were in one. I completely agree

I gotta co-sign this. Its very idiotic to make the claim that "unless you played the sport etc...you have no opinion etc"

Bill Bellichek has never played a down of football in his life. Not NFL, College, Highschool or even pop warner. I guess according to that line of thinking, his opinions or thoughts on football don't mean ****.

People who know boxing know that, it's only pacquiao fans who discredit him..well not all of them but most!

But as far as the original post, yes it's a great accomplishment. For what ever reason, Floyd's facial features hold up well even when getting hit. Floyd has been hit clean repeatedly, but he doesn't bruise as easily as others. Mosley is another fighter than doesn't get bruised easily as well as Hopkins.
