I don't think Floyd wanted to ruin JMM, because that would have left a bad taste with the weight issue. Also as a side benefit JMM could get more wins down the road.

I think Floyd saw it as he would need to do a lot to maybe take JMM out, the way the fight played out he didn't need to go down that road and decided not to.

No. The funny thing about that is Mayweather did an online interview for fanhouse boxing and I got my question in. I asked him if he would be able to make the 144 pound limit and if he was having trouble. He never really answered directly. "Yeah this is a welterweight fight and I'll be ready to go." I don't think he could make it without weakening himself and didn't plan to.

I think he said he was trying to go for the ko at the end but couldnt cause Marquez is tuff. Strange Marquez has a shaky chin and can get floored kind of easy but cant seem to be knocked out.

well of course it was physically possible, but mentally floyd doesnt have the killer instinct. He'd rather back up 2 steps if JMM throws a jab, and only economically attacks. 'sweet science', floyd boys ****** over it.

Yeah, I know Floyd said that in the POST conference... but, I didnt really see him try it to much... if it came it came, if it didnt it didnt which was pretty much his mentality...

                COULD HE, have done it?

25 out of 40 fights he had a killer instinct. That's well over 50 percent.

It's obvious that he could have. Those who say NO, well....we know why.

You cuold count the combinations he threw on one hand. If he decided to go for the kill he would have gotten. I think it might be a mental block or something. He doesn't take the ****ing chance to the point where he could get caught with something, it get's on my nerves.
