cotto is too slow paced for floyd's style--his defense is too slow--i always said that cotto would be easy pickings for floyd because of his pace--once floyd starts timing cotto--it's curtains for miguel--easy fight--i wish they fought in 2005 or 2006--this was cotto at his best imo and floyd at his most fierce---cotto came to 2 fights of floyd back to back--the bruselles and gatti fight--he opted not to fight floyd, maybe due to bob arum, but i don't feel cotto wanted this fight period---people always talk about the mosley fight--that goes to show that shane would never beat floyd--cotto landed some nice combos on shane--because shane's defense is suspet--his footwork is suspect and he tends to fight sloppy, not box smart, which is why shane always struggled with good boxers--floyd is a complete fighter--cotto isn't---he gets frustrated and then chokes in his big fights--floyd would pick him apart---and stop him imo---

Mayweather wanted Cotto at 140lbs. Team Cotto declined. I think at 147lbs they would and may eventually fight. So I wouldn't write them fighting each other off yet.

I really wish Cotto would get Naaz to train him. He did wonders with Shane, and i think he could be a good match to Cotto's style to help him capitalize on the strong points, and work on his weaknesses. But after his father passing away, i don't know what Cotto is going to do.

I hate that lame-ass team of children he has. That's one thing i fault My fav boxer on. His false sense of pride, the male harness most old world societies put on men, that they have to always be strong and show no weakness or vulnerability. A lot of people, especially younger people don't realize there is strength in admitting weakness.

After all, how can you correct a weakness if you deny you have one? Cotto's inability to genuinely and sincerely ask for help from the top of the crop isn't helping him. He prefers to surround himself with yes men and train himself. Not good. Not good at all. He needs a near complete overhaul.

Sure just like Cotto was too much for Mosley, Judah, Margarito, Clottey and Pacquiao to handle right?
