What are the chances that arg has been cheating his whole career?

I find it odd that he would ONLY use the plaster ti fight a 38 Year old fighter he was favored to beat..yet NOT use it for Cintron, Johnson, Williams or Cotto.

Or Lejuan, or Lewis for that matter.

In light of him being re-instated soon...Who thinks hes been cheating his whole career?

could have been but i just cant see how a fighter can get away with loading his wraps which is physically obvious when felt for over 40 fights.when he fought cotto you are talking about a huge event that was on ppv how could the commisioners not notice and afterwards he takes the wraps off straight away.if he has been getting away with it during his career then this sport is ****ed if he could get away with what else has been slipping under the radar

A question I've asked before was how do we know Margarito wasn't on any PEDs? I mean, Margarito loaded up so who is to say he wasn't on anything else. He had the insane stamina/ activity...I wouldn't be surprised at all.

              Let's put it this way.

In the first fight where we can be absolutely certain the gloves weren't loaded, he got knocked out.

They are obviously all on roids. In fact, I am 100% sure they are all on roids.

In fact, every poster here is on roids and I have proof that you are on roids because you don't have proof that you aren't on roids.

Well he got caught with illegal handwraps not plaster. If you get caught with plaster nowadays you would go to prison and get kicked out of boxing for good.

I'm guessing he only took up the plaster-of-paris after his loss to Paul Williams. Look at the facts. After the Williams fight, he had 6 losses and a No-Contest. Then, he crushed Golden Johnson (a 25-4 fighter, I believe - a better record than Margarito's 32-6-0-1) in just 1 round! Johnson should have given Margarito a good battle and made at least 6 or 7 rounds before being Knocked-Out. Yet he was dropped 3 times in just 150 seconds of the bouts' beginning!

Next was a real challenge in the form of Kermit Cintron. Cintron, with his 30-0 record, had previously knocked out Margarito in only 5 rounds. Now, at his prime, he was the IBF Lightweight World Champion and had good prospects of becoming the Number 1 Lightweight in the world. Now, Margarito repaid the favour - he physically knocked Cintron down for a 10-count with a left hook to the body.

And then the defining fight, against Miguel Angel Cotto. Cotto was by far the #1 Welterweight in the world, now undisputed having beaten Mosley (figuratively - he was the WBC World Champion, WBO World Champion and WBA World Champion, as well as the IBO World Champion and the Ring Magazine World Champion), and had made 13 defenses of his title. He was undefeaed with a 35-0 record and was clearly the Number 1 in the world. Now, he sought to become the 3rd person in history to have all 4 major belts, plus the IBO belt, plus the Ring Magazine "belt" by beating the IBF holder. But he had to get through Margarito first. He was pounded pretty bad.
