Don't be suprised to see fight announcement around Friday

With Friday Night Fights kicking off the new season on ESPN2 this Friday, I wouldn't be suprised to see the fight announced around then. This will allow more hype and publicity for the fight. Not to mention Pacquiao is suppose to start training in LA next week. I don't think Pacquiao would be training if he didn't have an opponent lined up.

yeah. It's all part of their game plan. Seems to follow how WWE does their plots.

If they dont announce it today then there are more issues at stake.Oscar fought Manny before so that means a deal could have been worked out.I do not know why GBP's stake in Manny would become such an issue now.If it was material Arum would have raised it back then when Manny fought Oscar.

Is Manny in Carlifornia already for his training?

I stopped caring about this fight really. It has been spoiled for me already. Both camps acting like school girls.

Gospel. And that's not to say i support Pac-Foreman and especially Mayweather-Malignaggi in the slightest... but this fight has most certainly reached "who gives a fcuk" status for me.

I can't believe how pathetically desperate so many media members have been in trying to still sell this as the fight that has to happen. If anything, negotiations for this fight are all the proof you need that "anyone, any place, any time" will never again be a valid claim at the top level.

If you stopped caring about the fight you must not be a real fight fan. **** like this happens all the time. Die hard fight fans knew that negations would be rough(didn't see the drug testing fiasco though) and the fight might get called off a few times. That's the business of boxing. A true fight fan sees the significance of this potential clash of the titans battle. This event could bring are sport back to the mainstream.

Not having this fight could leave us in the dark.
