Don't talk about it... Be about it!!

Until he fights somebody legit, he'll always be Amir CON. Washed up Barrera and the bagel maker are far from good fighters. Maidana's the mandatory, so if he quack quacks his way out of it, you know what's up..

And if he goes on to trounce Maidana, what will he be then? Still a "glass-jawed hypejob bum", who doesn't belong in the ring with Bradley and co? :conf1:

      Uhhhhhhh-huh.

Khan needs to fight Maidana, he is his mandatory and it will not look good if he gives up his title to dodge Maidana and it did worry me a bit when he said something like 'Maidana is my mandatory but I don't know where he is or what he's doing'. What the hell does that mean? Make it your business to find out where he is and sign the fight or the WBA will take your title away. Worry about him first then move onto the likes of Malignaggi and Campbell. There are a lot of good fights for him at 140 and I just hope he steps up to the plate now.

The fact is that after 2 embarrassing losses, Prescott is a non-issue now - plus he fights at 135, and it's clear that Khan no longer belongs in that division. An arguably undefeated Maidana at 140 is a far better challenge than a twice-trounced Prescott.
Exactly, Prescott has now lost any name recognition he gained by beating Khan by being easily out boxed in his last two fights. Khan now has bigger and better fights ahead of him, a Prescott rematch is not needed unless Prescott moves up to 140 and starts winning again.

That covers it all, right there. It's not that I'm saying Prescott is useless or won't ever be a force again - rather, right now he's simply not an issue at either 135 or 140 (where he has fought before). So until he makes himself an issue again, a rematch isn't warranted.

Besides, the payday wouldn't be feasible. HBO is likely willing to pay big bucks for Khan vs Maidana/Malignaggi/Ortiz/Campbell - meanwhile the only thing Prescott brings to the table in terms of his last outings in the States, is an embarrassing outing against Vazquez, a shoddy showing against Toledo, and a scrappy SD against Abril.

But regardless, you see a huge difference in Paulies style from both fights...now he is back to his best, focus on the Diaz wins...yes both...and then make a judgement about Paulie. He will be tough for Khan, Paulie wont be standing there.
i totally agree he will be a very tough fight for khan, one im interested in c-ing for a few reasons
its more than likely going 12 rounds imo, which gives us a good chance to see how khan is progressing
he will be fighting a skilled boxer who doesnt have too much power, paulie will give him different types of problems than maidana would (which is another fight i really want too see)

Khan has skills and if he beats Maidana I'll give him props. But I don't think he'll ever be ready fro Bradley IMO. I'm just ready for him to start fighting legit opposition.

I remember hearing the Interview, and Maidana was reportedly the number one challenger over Dmitry Salita, but chose to fight another fighter as a tune up.
