Paul Williams is overrated,perhaps the most overrated in the sport at this present time.


He promotes himself as the most avoided man in the sport and had mindless followers who parrot's his and his promoters(who have obviously done a poor job) words and believe him to be this great fighter.


Williams has been exposed twice now,and while most of his fans have jumped off the bandwagon,there are still a few left.

I saw Mayorga beating Forrest the second time hands down. Mayorga was not good technically; but he did intimidate opponents and his wild style was entertaining. He also beat Andrew 6 heads lewis when he was undefeated. His fight against Cory Spinks for the undisputed WW title was not well officiated by Tony Orlando. He took 2 points away from mayorga and even
didnt score 2 obvious KD's that would have given Mayorga the win.

Mayorga also won the JMW title against Luigo Minchillo and went he lost to Tito it was pretty much over. I dont think he ever will match up well with PW. But at WW he might have given a PW a strong match and especially when he still had a good chin.

Quintana exposed Paul Williams badly in their first fight.His nuthuggers claimed that he was simply an off night.fast forward almost two years later and the same thing happens to him again.

Paul Williams can't deal with a boxer who doesn't offer a stationary target for him to try and outwork.
