    Boxing champ Amir Khan arrives in Pakistan today

    KARACHI: World light-welterweight boxing champion Amir Khan is arriving here on Wednesday (today) to participate in the concluding ceremony of the Be****r Bhutto International Boxing Tournament. Amir, a British boxer of Pakistani origin, became the WBA champion after defeating Andreas Kotelnik on July 18, 2009 at the age of 22, making him Britain’s third-youngest world champion after Naseem Hamed and Herbie Hide. He was previously in the lightweight division, where he held the Commonwealth, WBO Inter-Continental and WBA International titles. He was also the youngest British Olympic boxing medallist when he won a silver medal at the 2004 Athens Olympics at the age of 17. He will stay in Pakistan along with his parents from January 6 to 11.

        i hope it all goes well for him because pakistian is a very unstable place to be right now,if they find out someone famous is there they might try blowing him up to catch the world media attention,you better pray that dont happen or then you would end up topping yourself
