Don't kid yourself, the fight wont be at 154lbs. If by a miracle the fight really happens at 154lbs, then it becomes a little more interesting...even if it is just for another paper title.

I dont think for one second this fight will beat 154 Pounds....UNLESS...Roach and Pac just wanted to handicap Cotto.

They almost HAVE to make this a catch weight.

They made Cotto weight 145lbs........yet theyll fight Foreman a WHOLE weight class higher at 154 Pounds.

Why did he pick Foreman...over Martinez, Dzindiruk and Spinks who also have paper titles ?

Because he's the least dangerous for Manny's EIGHTH weight class. This would be Manny's FIRST fight in the 154 division. Who was Floyd's first fight @ WW? Shramba Mitchell and that was only his 5th class. We're talking 8th!!!

That would be like Floyd going to Super Middle and if Floyd EVER did that, it would only be EXPECTED that he take on a weaker champion by THAT division's standards.

I think this has gotten to be sad already I mean Paulie/Foreman cmon, this is a DUCK on both of their sides (Pac/Floyd) they are scared of what one another can do to each other. Us as fans deserve this, even the casuals deserve this... If Floyd/Paulie happen and Pac/Foreman happen, I can see it now Floyd will sell more PPV's than Pac ( because we know it will be PPV )then once they get past their tunep # 2's floyd will say he's the bigger draw and then they'll delay another couple of months on negotiations. They just don't want to lose to each other because a loss is bound to happen; translation fear!!

Forget the Pacman Floyd fight. It will go down in history as the fight that could have been but Floyd bitched out. I bring up Floyd because this cant come from a Floyd fan. I can't criticize other fighter's career choices because I would have to criticize Marquez's since he's my favorite fighter, but I do both.

I can't sit here and claim Floyd is boring because Chad Dawson happens to be one of my favorite fighters.
