MGM belongs to GBP... They have a business arrangement. Remember that Arum wanted to have a meeting with Jerry Jones to host the fight in Dallas? But, Schafer blew it off didn't go. That is because Schafer wanted the fight at the MGM since they have an agreement. That was why Bob Arum was pissed about it...

And, from what I read was a that potential Pac-Foreman fight might happen on March 20. So I think Top Rank will go to March 20.

Now who will get HBO PPV? That I don't know... I do know Ross Greenburg has a really good relationship with GBP and Al Haymon. And, Top Rank can always do an independent PPV. They are not scare of that. They have done it before. They question is would they do a PPV show back-to-back? Would that be smart? The sales would suffer from both sides....

If the mediation fails, Arum has repeatedly said he will match Pacquiao with junior middleweight titlist Yuri Foreman, whom he also promotes, on March 20 at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas so Pacquiao could attempt to win a title in a record-extending eighth weight division.

Mayweather could still fight on March 13 at the MGM Grand and potentially face former junior welterweight titlist Paulie Malignaggi.

But, these greedy muthafuckers won't do that....

Both fights would be a disgrace to boxing and a spit in the face for boxing fans.

Fight Tim Bradley instead of jersey Shore

If Mayweahter fights ***lignaggi, on the undercard of PacMan V Foreman, then he is Truly a ***** thats afraid of a little Challenge. Why Not Fight Timmy Bradley, who already put a "Got Next" Challenge to FLoydJr? I really hope this is all Nonsense and Floyd finds a better Opponent to Face, especially with Manny going against another Tough Fighter. I can understand Manny going after Foreman, since Martinez and Williams fought recently, but WIth Tim Bradley out there, how the Hell does Paulie get a shot? I love Juan Diaz but hardly feel that beating the Baby Bull entitles you a shot at Floyd. Then you can get weird and Say that since Hatton Destroyed Paulie and Marquez Brutally KOed Diaz, and since Mayweather easily beat Marquez and Hatton, then this Matchup should just be a Glorified Sparring Session. Sadly i will probably be correct with both Floyd and Paulie claiming hand injuries to explain the SNoozeFest.

Pacquiao v Foreman is a fight i want no part of, betting wise. I have lost too much Money betting against Manny and i am not about to reopen that book, but i feel Foreman has a shot to Beat Him. Foreman has that CounterPunching Ability that will give Manny problems and seems eluvise, but Fighting a Fat Daniel Santos is not exactly very Telling. Will Foremans Chin hold up to a Real Power Punch he will never see coming, is the Question. My head tells me that Foreman should be able to squeak out a Desicion but my Wallet tells me Manny by KO. Since my Wallet has real knowledge on the Matter, i will listen to him. And even if Manny Loses, i really dont feel like it will hurt him in anyway legacy wise...But if Floyd Loses to Paulie or even has a close fight with Jersey SHore, then we may be seeing the Death of a Legend.

funny how mosley seems to have been 'overlooked' yet again when mentioning possible next opponents - he should be good to fight again in april/may. floyd and manny need to stop being such bitches - if this fight doesn't happen soon its going to seriously damage boxing

"Mayweather vs. Malignaggi will be a pure boxing match with two quick, defensive minded boxers. Tough to see a knockout here. It can play out in two ways. Twelve rounds of trash-talking with quick action or a boring twelve round chess match with two guys looking for openings."

Did they forgot Malignaggi is a clown who get ruined by Hatton. The guy is irrelevent at 147.
Malignaggi "so called pure boxer" isn't that good,he's slick but he sucks. He ****** against N'Goudjo and n'dou.

At least Foreman hold a title and is a big 154 fighter.
                      Foreman would beat Malignaggi easy.
