    Any news on Antonio Margarito's reinstatement?

          i think it was mid feburary when he got suspended. i dont understand why people keep talking about him like he is back.

          correct me if im wrong but just cuz his suspension is up the boxing comission doesnt have to give him back his boxing license.

            I don't know. I remember the fight was late Jan but I don't remember when the actual one year suspension started.

                I think you are precisely correct. I believe the commission has the option to reinstate a suspended fighter, but does not have the obligation to do so.

                  His license wasn't suspended, it was revoked. So he has to reapply for a new license, and that's not guaranteed.

                    Incorrect.

                    Here is the report on Boxrec about Margarito's license which was suspended indefinitely, meaning he's not getting it back until he reapplies like you said:
