I listened to a recent interview of khan on "On the ropes" radio show.

The question was: Amir there has been some talks that your next fight potentially could be against the WBA interim champion Marcos Maidana. But there have also been rumours that he could possibly take a fight before he fights you. What are your thoughts on a potential fight with him?

Amir khan: I heard maidana was my next mandatory, I was very confident in taking that fight and I spoke to freddy roach about that fight and he also was very confident about that fight. So we were starting to get ready for that fight. Now I heard that he moved and is not took the mandatory fight. I don't understand the reason behind that but there is still alot more great fighters in the JWW that I could take on.
