My honest assessment of 'Lil Floyd's personality is that he possesses the mentality that he is above all in life. This obviously will bring down extreme condemnation upon him from everyone. There is no humility or humbleness present in his actions. It's sad to see someone with his talent not showing a decent demeanor that is reflective of someone who is mature and respectable. Very sad indeed. JAT

      nothing new here.

Floyd already turned down MILLIONS OF DOLLARS just to duck cotto, mosley, margarito and now pac. He even duck a rematch with oscar.

As Floyd came to WW Margarito had one belt and Judah was holding 3 and was recognized as undisputed WW Champ... he wanted to fight Judah right away but there was problems with the split and all that... so he warmed up against Mitchell... then he pretty much had Judah and everything pretty much was agreed to... but Judah had to defend his title against Baldomir or he would have been stripped... Judah lost, we all know the story.

Floyd went on with Judah which IMO is ok because he was the man one fight ago and beat him. AFterwards he had his nasty split with Arum...

He then had an offer to fight Margarito or Baldomir, who beat the man who was the man... he took Baldomir for the same amount of money and beat him and became undisputed champion...

After this I can't blame him for anything because everybody would have fought DLH... money/fame considerations... and the same with Hatton... everybody wants these guys... I can't blame him for that and if you do... you should blame your favorite fighter as well because they would have taken DLH and Hatton each and every day or the week over Margarito.

Cotto... and here we have to be fair... because we always say that a guy has to earn the number one spot... so the question is at which point did Cotto earned the spot or was considered one of the best at WW... by the way Cotto wasn't even at WW when Floyd arrived... I would say Cotto made his point with Mosley fight... and that was when Floyd retired.

Mosley since being back at WW had done nothing to be considered the best WW... Margarito in 2009 was the first thing (and as you can remember Floyd was retired)... he beat Collazo ok... he lost to Cotto... went up at 154 for again... and by the way his own promoter said that after the Baldomir fight Mosley had this fight on the table... DLH said to Mosley that he has first choice but he wanted to take an vacation so DLH took the fight... I mean it is ok to go to an vacation but the offer was there after the Baldomir fight and the fight would have happened in May (a half year later)... only because Mosley finally now wants to fight him Floyd has to say alright... c'mon... of course he took Pacquiao...

So the only one who has really a reason to cry is Margarito but based on the fact that he was at WW at the same time as Floyd... but we should also mention that it wasn't like he was a real fighting champion (he fought twice a year if he was lucky)... so it wasn't like he was something special at the time...

            Mosley had his chance twice...
Cotto is simply bad timing (I wanted to see the fight too)
Margarito was there but at that time ain't had more right to flace Floyd then Baldomir

These are facts... just look it up and you will see...

The Mosley thing I believe was in article where the topic was something with Shane Mosley has only one fight left on his contract or something... there Schaefer said that Mosley had the Mayweather fight on the table... if the promoter from your opponent says it it's something different but if even your own promoter says that... it's pretty clear in my book. Somebody can post the article to confirm it

one thing thats tells me that Floyd ducked is when Larry merchant asked floyd after the hatton fight to see who he would be fighting next considering some of the top guys out there like, cotto, mosely, margo, williams. Floyd answered saying, im gonna retire from boxing and not let it retire me. And he surely did. He didnt want none of the bests out there so he left. When he left, those guys fought each other. floyd comes back and fights a smaller guy but claims that jmm was second p4p thats why he fought him. there where plenty of guys in his size and weight class he couldve fought. I dont get it when he says he's the best cuz he aint lost before I dont get it when floyd fans says he's the best cuz of the same reason. Just go and listen to RA the rugged man owns floyd. he puts it out real good.

It's getting more and more obvious that 'Lil Floyd's excuses in not fighting the best in his weight-class are bringing down some very harsh words from all his critics. If Jr. is to get any kind of respect from the boxing fans, he needs to "Man UP" and start fighting those who can present an extreme challenge to him. Floyd's interview with RA sums it all up.

I usually ain't talk about it anymore but you sir, seem to be mannered as well... that's why I hollaaaaaaaaaa back...

The fact is he retired... that's the fact... why he retired is up for anybody's guess you know... you can see it that way but that's only your opinion nobody can tell what's going on in his mind... I know and I'm speaking here off facts again... that his body was breaking down on him (his hands anyways ****ed up and his back gave him major problems) and that but that's again is just my opinion was also one of the reasons why he fights so different now a days then he used to... because he doesn't trust his body anymore... I initially though as he came back that he came back because his body felt good again and that he wanted to make a statement... but after reading some stuff I guess I was wrong... he came back because he lost a lot of money over some pretty ****** **** and now wants to cash in one more time and Pacquiao is the perfect oppurtinity for him...

As the fight was announced all the other good guys had something to do... Margarito was suspended... Cotto was already signed to Clottey... Williams was signed to Pavlik if I'm right etc. pretty much everybody had something to do with the exception of Mosley... but I personally don't have a problem if somebody comes back and ain't fights the best out there right away... he is a reflex fighter... he fought a guy who couldn't hurt him but who is a very accurate puncher... very good also in timing you... and I think his thought process was a) to win against him and used it for demands against Pacquiao b) to get his own reflexes sharp... and he was at the time the second best P4P and P4P stands for skills... but 147 was too much for Marquez and so it wasn't a contest... I also never mentioned or will as one of his biggest wins because it ain't.

Floyd is not the best talker you will find out there... I'll never said that he is the best because he is undefeated... I simply base it on his skills... not on his 0

RA the rugged man *lol* I heard it and like said... Floyd isn't the biggest talker because he could have gone after him as well for things he said that were wrong... He is a typical hater and it's ok he got his fame from this... but how should I take a guy serious who doesn't even know when Mosley got beat, who compares Nielsen resume to Floyds, who gives out Hopkins as his role model and saying Floyd faces smaller men (even though Hopkins fought way more smaller men then Floyd) I mean c'mon... for a guy who claims himself to be a boxing fan and **** he pretty much knows nothing... I in general always have to laugh if ppl act out and say Floyd's fight smaller men... whom... Marquez - and that's all... everybody else was in the weight class that he fought him in or was before in that weight class (like Hatton)... I mean what are you guys talking about, serious... I hope that RA raps better then he knows boxing... because otherwise this will be the moment he will be known for all his life... same with Margarito... before the whole handwrap **** he was known for being ''ducked'' by Mayweather, not for his skill, not for the fight he fought or fighters he fought... it's simply lame if you try to pick on the best just to give yourself some exposure...

But I didn't blame them... I mean if I would be a nobody like most cats I would want to get a piece of somebody who is the best as well to prove myself... he wasn't P4P one of the best for over decade without a reason... the sad thing is where he really made some noise nobody gave a **** about him it almost went unnotice... that's why many now come out and ask why he is so good... go back and watch some tape of his old days... nobody at 130 could have ****ed with him (doesn't matter if Morales, Barrera, Marquez etc.)... he was a bad dude... I hope Pacquiao can bring out this side in him again because he was bad... I doubt that Pacquiao has the skill to do it though but if he can't who else could.

Trust me. PBF wants Pac to fail the test believe me. Moneys all nice and good, but the satisfaction of saying i told you so, will far outweigh the money. He will just have to take another route for big money.

But the thing is it will put a quesstion mark against all of Pacs great wins. So trust me, PBF is crossing his fingers and toes that Pac fails the test.
