    Coincidence?
dont the klits + all their opponents have to take the olympic type testing as they are on German tv? (the Abraham thread hinted that German tv insists on it but im still not too sure of all the info)

I have to say, I'm surprised that so many people think Chambers has a chance against Klitschko. He's certainly one of the better heavyweights to come along in recent years, but he does not have to tools to beat Klitschko. Everything that has been mentioned about him is true: he's slick, he's fast, has a good defence etc. Yeah, that's great, but it's not enough against a guy who has almost everything going for him except a solid chin.

As much as I was impressed watching him in his fight against Dimitrenko - I was equally unimpressed by Dimitrenko. He's was fighting as though he was the smaller man. And not only that, there were times when he did not show a lot of heart as a fighter - in fact I've seen more balls shown by Audley Harrison. I don't say those words lightly, as I know every fighter who puts on the gloves is no *****cat, but to be fighting at that level you'd expect to see a man of that size actually have a tougher mindset.

Chambers does appear to be quite good, but he lacks size and power. He cannot win round after round against a big, powerful, experienced, fast handed, modern day heavyweight with the tools he [Klitschko] has. He annihilated Chris Byrd, when Byrd was close to his prime. Chambers may not be Byrd, but in any case, he is not beating Klitschko. People are mentioning that he may be on performance-enhancing drugs: well I don't think all the drugs in the world are going to make a difference anyway. Klitschko is too good.

I'm certainly not hating on Chambers as he is very talented and is showing the bigger guys up. But to say he has a decent chance against Klitschko is going a bit far in my opinion.

Chambers might be a little bit faster than Wlad, but thats debatable. That would be his only advantage in this fight and its slim. Wlad has a great jab and theres nothing Chambers can do to stop it. If Chambers gets sick of getting hit with the jab and gets brave he goes to sleep.

I agree 100%. I would pick Chambers to beat just about any other Heavyweight, and I would certainly favor him if he were fighting Haye for the WBA belt, but he stands almost 0 chance of knocking off Klitschko.

As you pointed out, Dimitrenko was soft and fought without heart, yet Chambers stilled showed an unwillingness to step on the gas and really make an attempt to end the fight. Dimitrenko was hardly fighting back at the end and Chambers, as has been his style, was content to sit back and coast.

Honestly we can put all this analysis aside and make it simple by saying that Chambers is just too small to be the guy to knock off Wlad.

Even in the Dimitrenko fight the bigger man was able to back Chambers up just by hitting his gloves. Wlad is gonna be driving Chambers back 3 steps with his jab.

I expect Chambers to get knocked out, even though he is superior to several of Wlad's recent opponents he wont end up lasting as long because he will actually try to fight, not run, and he wont be able to take the shots the way Chagaev did.

Eddie Chambers works off his opponent's jab and has quick hands, but this will be the most difficult jab to attack off of in Wlad. I think Wlad will win by KO within 8. I like Chambers but I don't see anyone beating the brothers.

Chambers will surprise anyone who thinks Wlad's going to have an easy fight. He can box, and he's pretty quick for his size. he has nice footwork. I just think Wlad's defensive shell, and Chambers lack of knockout power will make it tough for Eddie to hurt Wlad. other than that, Eddie can cruise his way into the late rounds with some slickness and maybe force Wlad to fight for the remaining rounds (that is if Wlad's jab hasn't already found it's home on Eddie's chin). i would like to see Eddie pull this one off.

I expect that Chambers will give Wlad some stylistic issues early and have a few moments, but Wlad will wear him down and drop and likely stop him in the 10th or 11th round.

Chambers is a legit opponent and I think he is a pretty good fighter but I just do not really see a path to victory for him. Wlad should mop the floor with Chambers any other outcome would be suprising to me.
