I think Dawson is 1 young gun that has the size & speed to make Hopkins look his age!!But if Hopkins were that weight 7 years ago,he'd beat the present Dawson!!

This fight would be just as close and/or probably as controversial as the Taylor-Hopkins bouts. Despite the opinions of everyone, Taylor came away as the winner both times. I see Chad Dawson as a bigger and maybe slightly better version of Jermain Taylor. If Taylor could hang with Hopkins, then I think Dawson could do the same. I also think Dawson would fight Hopkins a lot smarter than what Taylor did against Hopkins.

I would pick Dawson to win a close decision, which wouldn't surprise me if it became debatable.
