While I'm sorry for Cotto's loss I also feel that he was in an extremely unique position that I believe many of us would envy.
He had a very close relationship with his father in which he was able to continuously express his love for him. How many of us have been as close to our fathers and told them how much they mean to us and how much we love them.

Thats pretty lame larry, but using someones death to further your own arguments against Pacquiao or his fans/stans is f.ucking disgraceful. Would have expected better of you.

Poor little Migs got left out of the action. Lol. I'm just joking around guys. Don't take it to heart. RIP Don Miguel.
For those who really care and didn't knew Cotto Sr. too much, this a man known as Cotto's father but was more than that.
Cotto Sr. dedicated his life to work with young talented boxers in the amateur level and was also an international boxing judge and oficial. Because of his interest to help kids he never got totally involved with the pros until Cotto needed his help after the incident with Evangelista. Although he had the knowledge to deal with the pros and make lots of money, he preffered to develop the young talent and continue with his humble life.
I beleive he also retired from the armed forces serving the same contry and defending the same freedom that you enjoy in USA.
Have you, (Southpaw and Iceta) done something like that with your life????
It seems to me that with this said and not knowing the persons behind Souhtpaw and Iceta, I can come to the conclusion that Miguel Cotto Sr. is way much better as a person and we owe more to him, than these 2 idiots and their ****** comments and "jokes" especially at this moment of tragedy.
As per Me, I just want to thank Cotto Sr. for his legacy not only for his sons thru blood, but to all the hundreds of sons he had in amateur boxing and to always try to help the young people in Puerto Rico.
May God Bless Miguel Cotto Sr. (RIP)Last edited by prsi; 01-04-2010, 01:16 PM.
