    James Toney: 71-6-3 (43 KO), 1989-Present

Key Wins: Michael Nunn, Reggie Johnson, Mike McCallum (2-0-1), Iran Barkley, Tim Littles, Charles Williams, Vassiliy Jirov, Evander Holyfield, Hasim Rahman (D)

Key Losses: Roy Jones Jr., Montell Griffin (2), Drake Thadzi, Samuel Peter (2)

Freddie Roach, Toney’s ex-trainer, recently said that an in-shape Toney had the potential to be the best fighter ever. Few who saw Toney at his best would rule out Roach’s assesment as pure fantasy. “Lights Out” outclassed fighters from 160 all the way up to 190, giving his opponents lessons in classic, old-school combat. With quick hands and a supremely tight defense, Toney’s only apparent weakness was at the dinner table where he probably ate away a few prime years of his otherwise stellar career.

        Mike McCallum (2-0-1)

Should be James Toney ( 2-1)

First fight was a draw but should of been a Toney win, however Toney lost the second fight clear imo, he got outworked.

3rd fight was pretty pointless as McCallum was well past it.

Yeah I agree with this, McCAllum was clearly robbed in Toney II. The same thing would happen to Toney in Toney vs peters I

I think you will find it was the other way round. Although to be honest Benn would of fought him if he had beaten Jones

Benn and Eubank would of fought Toney. Toney is overrated. He shud of stayed at super middleweight or light heavy and faced the best instead of eating burger kings and keeping them in business all these years.

Benn maybe, Eubank No. Eubank was a great fighter, but he didnt push himself he basically made the same mistake Jones did when he got his big tv deal.

Toney on the other hand should never have fired his origianal team: Jackie Kallen and Bill Miller, he was never the same after that.

dont forget about Tiberi. Tooney lost that fight regardless of what his record says.
