Collazo is a cry baby who prices himself out of fights and complains robbery when he's beaten from pillar to post by Berto in the last two rounds. If you think you were robbed, then why not accept a reasonable offer when it's presented to you which Berto's team did that. And why should I like Calderon when I don't like fighters like Cory Spinks and Chris Byrd? I can't really say I dislike Juan Ma. But I think he is overrated big time and he missed out on a big opportunity to leave a blue print at 122 since Cab is beatable.

Now as far as the lower profile PR fighters, I think they are the ones that don't get the shine that the other ones are undeserving of. Guys like Vasquez Jr and Santiago could make some noise in the future. But with Arum promoting Santiago, I predict that he'll protect him like he does with the rest of his fighters.
u were doing good until this....

how the fu ck .. u are going high on these two.. but NOT ON THE GOAT....

papito (vazquez jr) is a streeet brawler.... he def.. have some pop.. but he needs to learn how to BOX actually... to become a serious contender...

then mario santiago... who got a WELL DESERVE DRAW..against luevano.. FOR NOT SAYING ..that he didnt do enought to take him the title... he had that fight already in the bag.. but then he start clowning around.. and even giving kisses to luevano... ... he was lucky enough to get that draw... cos he was playing around too much in the ring.. and didnt push him self in that fight... to earn the decision...

u r not high on PR higher boxer.. but praise the B- fighters !!! gtfoh with that ****...

if you cant enjoy IVAN CALDERON... u just doesnt deserve to be a boxingfan...

it doesnt have to do always the HITMEINTHEFACE AND I HITYOU BACK fights....

u just seem to be butthurt with all the suscess of some boricua fighters!!!

get chill & relax! and watch the GOAT DEMOLISH LUEVANO

JuanMa has turned into this slugger brawler in his last two fights.
He could've gotten Lontchi early but he gave up his height and allowed Lontchi to fight off the ropes and tag him.
Against Mtagwa he regressed even further.

What happened to that guy that looked for his shots and boxed until he got them.
He better return to form against Luevano because he can't be fighting like he has recently and expect to win.

In a firefight against Gamboa, Gamboa's advantage his that he's quicker, and throws quicker shots that are as hard if not harder than JuanMa's.

Gamboa uses his feet well, something JuanMa used to do but has somehow forgotten since he's always looking for the ko lately.

That being said JuanMa can beat Luevano, but I think Gamboa has the physical advantages over him (speed and straighter shots).

JuanMa has to get that hook working again and use his southpaw stance to his benefit. He's got good size and a very nice jab, he doesn't need to try to kill the guy with every single shot.

He can definitely win some marquee match ups but he has to fight like he used to, not how he's fought in the last year.

        Entirely correct.

I think Lopez knows that now. In recent interviews he's openly said that he's been getting ******. He knows he needs to listen to his corner and box more as opposed to getting wild like he has been.

Hopefully those aren't empty words, cause when Lopez fights smart, he can beat anyone.

This pretty much corroborated the initial allegation of fdtorres, "i mean, you literally hate on every single fighter from PR"
I could sit here and find personal or professional flaws with just about any professional athlete or boxer of any ethnic background but to have a track record of one particular ethnicity....that tells you something.

Good analysis of the fight, I would just emphasize that by not boxing he got hit too much. He needs to tighten up his defense. The power will be there at 126 since he can finally go back to the weight training regimen he had to abandon for his last two fights in order to make weight.
