And Diaz won the first fight. So what?

JMM is leagues above both of them.

He's still poised for big fights for 10' including Hatton and Packy. How is that a low note???
What I was getting at was if he retired after the Floyd fight it would be a serious low note. I was pulling for him against Floyd but the huge weight issue made it a mismatch. He doesn't want to be known as "the guy that could go toe-to-toe with Pac", and taking down Katsidis and Hatton would really raise him a up.

Holy **** can you read? the smaller guy should be faster and use his speed against a bigger guy. You said Diaz got beat by a "bigger guy", remember? That would mean Paul used his weight and power as an advantage against Juan....

....which is the exact opposite of what happened. Paul used his speed to win the fight. How are you even arguing with me on this?

I've watched that fight 4 times now and I gain more respect for him everytime I see it.

Floyd was in top form and JMM hung tough for 12 rounds. Did he get walloped? Yeah, but it was against a much bigger guy who may be the best in the game.

No shame in that. I think most boxing people feel the same way. The only ones who really nailed him for it was the Ring mag who dropped him from #2 p4p all the way to 5.

            I thought that was lame.

For sure, it made Marquez look really bad to casual fans. I'm sure a lot of people felt like they wasted their money on the PPV. A 140 fight would have been a completely different story.

This goes to show you that Hatton is totally gone. I wouldn't be suprised if we never see him in a ring again and he follows Kosta Tszyu's blue print. A Katsidis-JMM fight would be easy to make because they are both with GBP. I think JMM should fight Bradley instead though because if JMM lost to him he probably wouldn't suffer that much physical damage from him because of his lack of power. Even though Bradley is a harder fight than Katsidis, JMM will end up in a war with Katsidis and it will put more age on his body because Katsidis is a physically taxing fighter even though he's not the most skilled one.

There's really no reward in a Katsidis fight because JMM has already beaten two guys who have wins over him. If he beat Bradley, he could be the first Mexican fighter to win 4 titles in different divisions all the while claiming to have beaten the most solid title holder. That fight is high risk, high reward. Katsidis is a high risk, low reward fight.
