The Danish robot comments are not unfair or an insult.

In regards to Mikkel Kessler who I do like watching, I don't think comments posters have made about him being a Danish robot are unfair or really that insulting either. It is not as if they are not without merit and are not in some ways complementary. Robots are strong, accurate, and hard to break, truth be told he is a bit mechanical in his fighting.
It is as if someone took this durable Dane and programed him with clean textbook boxing knowledge. Fighting him is the equivalent to playing a video game on a "very hard" setting. He can be impossible for you to beat if you are not well schooled but if you can go outside his programming or have the text boxing memorized and know some tricks beyond that, he cannot adapt as he can only perform what tactics his memory banks have stored to counter your action.
Since he has fired his trainer maybe he can be programmed with some new chapters in the American boxing text like 1.1 inside fighting, and 1.2 rough house tactics.
In any case I wish that Danish robot the best, he will need to be fully prepared against tough crude brawling Froch.

So no one thinks they should call him that? Its not really a bad ring name kind of menacing really.

Kessler needs to ask Joe for his soul back.

      Joking.

Joe understood the text of technical European style boxing, and knew some more tricks in addition to it.....so he could beat the boxing droid.

My English isn't great, but I think if you could paragraph it better, it would be easier to read bro.

Anyway he is mechanical and flat footed, but it's done him well.

Like a dancer, you stick to what wins you competitions and if you face a group that is way better, you either try to do what they do and not be as good, or try to improve your own game.

Kessler has been said to be stubborn by his ex trainer (Who was recently sacked
) to learn. He also has injuries all the time aswell according to him.

That being said, Kessler has good physique although age seems to be catching up on him. His hair line is receeding and body not so toned up.

Maybe abit too late to really be able to change now, which is his downfall. If every fighter in the world had top trainers, then we will get to see much better fighters.

I just like to get my thoughts down quick or I will lose my train if thought and forget what I was going to type.
So what you are saying about Kessler is his hardware is too old and outdated for more modern and advanced programs?

A good tip is to read what you typed and edit accordingly.

              He's 31 isn't he?

How much can he change? He is not physically better off when he was 24-26 and he is so use to fighting that style. You need to learn a style at a young age, and the only great boxers usually have a start in the teens or even younger.

Calzaghe worked out the blueprint after round 4 by boxing and Kessler couldn't keep up. Kessler hasn't changed since in his approach and I would say a worse fighter aswell. Perhaps the lawsuit with his old promoter has effected his mentality and training?

He has had the same program forever, so he hasn't really changed at all in years. This is the point though of this switch in trainers, I want to give him a chance and see what if anything can be learned. I doubt though we will see anything dramatic like use of a shoulder roll from him.

You could be right, and so far I think you have a very fair point.

But the only guys that Mikkel Kessler has struggled against has been really fast punchers. I think he'll grow with the task in the supersix, and after Froch, we might look on him with different eyes. Not safe to say that Froch isn't a dangerous opponent. I'm just curious about who's the strongest of those two.

My money is definitely on Kessler. So any Froch fans who read this, you game?

I'd take that bet, but I don't have many points and don't understand this whole points thing.
