I wonder if Ponce de Leon left his power at 122 because he's had two straight decisions at 126 against guys who've been knocked out before by ok comp . They don't exactly have great chins.

He went 12 with both guys.

I'd be interested to see how good Yordan is, I've only seen a round plus with him against Guerrero.

The impression I got from him against Guerrero is he is an excessive clincher with no inside skills. Guerrero was never hurt in that fight and it shocked me that he bailed out in some way. Not characteristic of a guy who KOd Martin Honario in one round while his wife was in a sick bed with cancer.

I remember watching De Leon against Escobedo or something similar and thinking it's crazy how this guy is a world champion. If we're going by boxing ability he has to be one of the most limited champions in years. He'd just wind-up these crazy haye-makers and Escobedo would have to get the hell out of the way or he'd be punched into next week. It was crazy. Now and again Escobedo would engage and De Leon would look awful but the power difference was so great that Escobedo just couldn't afford to exchange to often.

Apart from hitting like a train, I'm not too sure he does anything that great. If he lands though, it's all over. If you compare him to another champ ripped for lack of boxing skill in Carl Froch, he makes Carl Froch look like SRR. Froch's probably faster too,lol

Lol. De Leon aint that bad, but he sure aint a skilled Boxer. He is just a tough brawler with great Power.

I am wondering if PDL has carried his power up because i don't see him koing anyone lately.
