People seem to not understand the purpose of these tests.
I don't think Team Mayweather have any concern on wether or not manny will test negative or positive. I'm pretty certain they are expecting him to test negative for any peds.. the random tests though were for insurance - it was something to MAKE SURE he'd test clean and that there will be no foul play involved.
They feel insecure with the current drug testing policies and feel there are too many holes in it. I personally welcome it if it makes you feel comfortable. After all, that is the point of drug testing.. It isn't to catch users, but to instill fear in users and prevent them from even attempting to use.
But as I said, boxings current tests aren't exactly anything to be fearful about if you know exactly when you're about to be tested.Comment
